Galera,

By the way, I have 2 more questions:

1) How do you sugest to use your card. I heard that if a erase the photos in the card one by one it makes the "life" of the card shorter, and to avoid that we should always erase them by formating the card. Is that informat ion correct?

2) If so, can I rescue the photos from the card which was formatted?

Thanks,

Alexandre

-------------------

Dear Alexandre,

Thank you for contacting Lexar.

a) This information is not correct. The read and write cycle of the card is 300,000 cycles.

B) Yes you can recover the pictures from the card if you have formatted the card. But it is not 100% guaranteed.

c) You will not be able to recover the overwritten pictures.

So, it means that it makes no difference if I erase the photos one by one or format the entire card?

So erasing one by one does not interfere in the 300.000 clycles of the card? Will it last shorter if I erase one by one?

Thanks,

Alex

--------------------------------

Dear Alex,

Thank you for contacting Lexar.

We understand that you would like to know whether erasing the images one by one will interfere the 300,000 read/write cycles.

As you have suspected, erasing will not interfere the 300,000 read/write cycles. Erasing a file from the card will just delete the physically from the card. The space used by the file will remain as used space when you delete the file. If you format the card, then all the contents of the card will be erased and the used space will be regained.

Kindly get back to us if there are any issues.

We are here to serve you.
